Whilst visiting the wonderful Enchantment event the other day, I realized that my SLURL was out of date, and ended up teleporting myself to the ground to get reoriented. (Quick Tip: if you’re using the Firestorm viewer, typing “flr” without the quotes into the Local/Nearby Chat box and hitting enter will get you to ground level in a snap!) I cammed around a bit and spied a tempting altar at nearby Pegasoi, and that inspired my look today.
I’m wearing the foxy, fantasy-fitting Isabella dress by Masoom, which offers 7 dress colors in its HUD, along with 6 colors for the side design, and 5 colors for the beautiful jewel detailing. I found the violet/teal combination to be really appealing; it feels very luxe and royal. I Want a Little Sugar in My Bowl
If you made me name just one thing I loved in Second Life (and please don’t make me, that would be impossibly wicked!) I would unquestionably have one-piece outfits on my short list. Whether we call them jumpsuits, rompers, or playsuits, they are just so easy to wear and always get me going in a flash– usually to the latest shopping event, where I’ll most certainly be found picking up demos for even more of these wonderful things to add to my wardrobe!
But – and I pause to take a deep breath here – I may have found the be all, end all romper in CandyDoll‘s Leilani, because you can customize the top and bottom (separately if you like), as well as the gorgeous lace detailing, and the fatpack HUD comes with so many patterns and colors, it’s dizzying and delirious-making, and I couldn’t be happier to be so spoiled for choice!
I’m also quietly mesmerized by the new Jaily hairstyle from EMO-tions for the Hairology event. It’s so beautifully vintage glam, yet still with a modern ease and sensuality about it. As I posed for this picture at the wonderfully picturesque Blithe sim, I couldn’t help softly singing torch songs to myself from the ultimate vintage (and timeless) chanteuse, Nina Simone. Because after all: no matter how lovely the outfit, sometimes a woman just wants a little steam on her clothes. ;)

Summer Girl
Summertime, you are a tricky beast! No sooner had I started pining for Autumn when a lovely bundle of swimsuits came my way, and with a click of an applier button, I fell in love with the summery weather once more. Also, what better way to show off a lovely new tattoo than while wearing not very much at all? And any excuse I may find to visit one of my favorite sims is a truly worthwhile one, I’d say. So strike up “Summer Lovin'”, because it’s back to the beach with me!

First and foremost, I want to mention this gorgeous White Widow tattoo, which is a Gold level prize from The Collection, the brand new interactive adventure game from MadPea. It’s deeper than a traditional point-and-click game, and far more than just a hunt. I also want to give a special mention to my Chevron Necklace by Paper Arrow, which is the first piece of jewelry I’ve personally seen that features a specialized mesh body fit. I’m wearing the Maitreya (Beta) fit, and it may just be the first necklace I’ve ever worn in Second Life that did not have to be adjusted or resized in some fashion. So awesome! It fits beautifully against the skin with applier clothing, and works with mesh tops as well. A fitted version for Belleza’s Isis body is also included.

Happy Friday, lovelies! I’m genuinely amazed we’re greeting another weekend so soon; feels like just moments ago I was buzzing about the grid picking up last week’s Fifty Linden Friday gems!
